We have done extensive testing over the years with a variety of types water methanol, and their substitutes, and we have yet to find one that performs the way this one does. - A proprietary blend of alcohols and reverse osmosis distilled water, triple filtered for 99.9% purity.
- A blended ratio of ingredients held in suspension to obtain equal specific gravity & yielding a 100% burnable solution of equal B.T.U’s.
- A color treated leak detector is incorporated into the finished solution as a safety measure.
- Each storage vessel is nitrogen pumped as a barrier to contamination and retains to flash point standards built into each container manufactured.
- A shelf life of 12 months is provided prior to opening.
- The octane value of the M-53 alcohol blend has an octane equivalency of 177. The octane values of all other blends tested has been a maximum of 153.
- Shellbourne Fuels packaging standards: 1 litre= 32 oz.-a gallon= 4.546 litres not 3.78 litres a 5 gallon jug=20 litres not 16.00 litres. Our volumes are 20% larger than any U.S. packaged goods.
